Steps
Porphyry steps, sills and copings are obtained by sawing large
natural surface porphyry slabs and calibrating the visible sides further to obtain a more uniform thickness.
They are divided according to the surface finish that can be natural, flamed, brushed, polished or semi-gloss.
Natural and flamed surface are mainly recommended for external use on stairs, landings, walls, sills, and skirting while the other types are recommended for important internal applications.
